![]() ![]() If not a friend, try looking in as many garage sales as you can SNES's aren't all that uncommon a sight in those. As for the SNES, first, try to find a friend, relative, or just someone you know who has one. If you really, really want EarthBound, it still is possible to get. Because it's only in Japanese (and might be region locked, I dunno). Oh, and I wouldn't get Mother 1+2 unless you know how to read Japanese well. This, combined with EB's only average sales at it's original US release, helped contribute to the Mother series being excluded from the Western world. And of course, the hungry lawsuit dogs couldn't wait to sink their smelly, drooling chompers into it D:Īlso, Zenith, it's very likely that someone would take a lawsuit against Nintendo for this when EarthBound was originally released in the U.S., Nintendo was practically bombarded by lawsuits. See, the game itself was a parody of America, the main country being called Eagleland (get it?), and it used quite a few references to pop culture and such (not only in music). And the band that this music is involved with itself based on something in real-life. I'm pretty sure it's more than one song that contains parts of real-life songs.
